What to Expect When Working with Cavalier Kitchens & Designs

We’ve outlined our process so there are no surprises.

STEP 1
Initial Contact & Home Visit

Once we receive your inquiry (via our contact form, a phone call, or referral), we’ll follow up to set up an in-home appointment.

During this visit, we will:

  • Review your needs, preferences, and overall goals
  • Assess your existing layout and space
  • Review appliances (decide whether to replace or keep them)
  • Determine who will do the work – We’ll discuss whether you’d like us to handle all aspects of the project, share the work, or provide a plan you can implement yourself. The process is flexible—you can be as hands-on or hands-off as you prefer.
  • Discuss your budget range
STEP 2
Explore Initial Design Concept

Present the design concepts we’ve developed based on information you’ve provided and walk you through each option in detail. We’ll discuss what you like, what you’d like to change, and explore alternative ideas. From there, we make thoughtful revisions to ensure the design reflects your vision perfectly.

During this visit—either in your home or in the showroom—we will review:

  • Cabinetry styles, finishes, and colors
  • Countertop and backsplash options
  • Design Options
  • Approximate Costs
STEP 3
Fine Tune Design & Review

Over the next 1–2 weeks, we will create a custom design for your space. We will then present:

  • A design that fits within your budget
  • A design that includes everything on your wish list (even if above budget)

This is a client-driven, no-pressure process, usually involving 3–4 meetings with discussions, feedback, and revisions until the design is exactly right.

STEP 4
Finalize & Order

Once a final design is approved and you are comfortable with your selections:

  • A contract is signed
  • Detailed drawings are created
  • All necessary paperwork is completed
  • A deposit is collected
STEP 5
Ordering & Project Timeline

The time frame for your project will depend on product selections and availability. We can also coordinate contractor services as a separate offering to streamline your renovation.
